The Pipes and Drums of Lake County is comprised of Law Enforcement Officers associated with the Lake County Sheriff's Department, the Lake County Coroner's Office, Crown Point, Lake Station, Railroad, and Schererville Indiana Police Departments and the Thornton and Homewood (IL) Police Departments. All First Responders are eligible to request membership in the Band. Contact us for more information.

The Band's primary function is to honor Police Officers, Firefighters and Members of the Military who gave their lives in the line of duty. The Band also performs at various civic functions around the State, including Parades, Private Events, and Memorials.
