The Pipes and Drums of Lake County is comprised
of Law Enforcement Officers associated with the Lake County Sheriff's Department, the Crown Point, Schererville, Lake
Station and St. John, Indiana Police Departments and the Thornton and Homewood (IL) Police Departments and the DEA.
The Band performs at various civic functions
around the State, including Parades, Funerals, Private Events, and Police Memorials.
The members meet every Wednesday in
the Sheriff's Department training room at 7:00 p.m. for a business meeting and practice.
Any law enforcement officers from any department who are interested in
learning how to play the bagpipes are invited to come to a weekly meeting/practice session. It's fun and affordable!!!
